I think it's possible to make a couple of spacers that are as thick as the height difference between the intake ports of the carb and injection heads.
Forgot to mention that the above is based on using original 28H/25H exhaust manifolds with exhaust ports for the pre-heating.

It is not original and was put on by a person with a dubious taste. I would never put crap like that on my car. On the other hand, a Rekord D or Commodore B has trim like that originally, but that is a completely different thing.
