I will let you know when there is progress. This will be a longer project (0,5-1 year), because the material needs to be examined and re-designed properly. And due to lot of work involved it will not be cheap (price estimations will follow later when the structure of fabric is examined). However, this firm is specialised with making repros from old original materials and have already recreated fabrics successfully for several museum quality cars.

At the moment the project has only been discussed and I will need to collect the sample material for firm that they can start the process. Also I have to measure how much material is needed for each seat (I have seats for Limo, Caravan and Coupe).

IF somebody can sell me an original Rekord C 1967-1968 interior material example catalog, it would be very nice. And it needs to have the original fabric samples, not just photos of them. This would help a lot with the material color sampling. The fabric pieces will not be used from this catalog for anything else than color comparison. I have plenty of old sun-faded material which can be used for the structure analysis phase.

FINALLY some progress. I found and bought the interior material (also exterior colors) sample catalog from Rüsselsheim Saturday.

Now I have the real color samples and the project can be really started...
