Hi All

Im new to forum and cannot speak german, so im not sure, if i use correct thread for my topic. Sorry, if not...

I wanna order some parts from www.o-t-r.de for my project of '68 Rekord C Coupe

How's your experiences with this company? Are they enough trustworthy?
How's the parts quality?

I've ordered parts from OTR a couple of times, they are OK and of course trustworthy

yeah, it's my baby

it's prepared for sandblasting, which will be done next week, and after that we will start to complete it up.

yes, your right, it will takes a lot of hours to be done, but i love to do it...

When was the car imported to Cechoslovakia?
Before 1989 or in the early 90's ?

First owner of this car (based on docs, which i've got) bought this car in Czech republic in 1978. I dont know, if used or new, but he has bought it from state-owned enterprise, so i think it was new.

Guy, which i has bought it from, is a private collector in Czech republic. He collecting cars with his father for more than 25 years. Of course i didnt knew this, before i has visited him.

When he opened the door on that building, which looks like a hangar, i have been standing like a statue and i was not able to say ANYTHING for maybe 10 minutes. there were sooooooooo many cars inside, one next to another one.... And he kills me with a sentence, that he have another two hangars same like this one. (he told it like "everybody have"

) of course, i've been there to look

and the result is more than 1000 cars !!!

On the otherside, there are only 7 peoples to take care about it all, so he has decided to sell some pieces, as better option like "let it as food for rust". Good decision..

Thank you. It's my friend's garage, where we restoring cars. There's a Manta B (yellow one) next to my Rekord, under the cover is another Manta B cabrio, already restored and on the area outside is one Omega A combi, my Senator B and one Manta A for restoring will be there very soon

No no, they working on it really hard and they knows it very well, that they cannot do it all. That's what i wrote:

maybe you dont know my background.
actually i own a lot of cars, and it is fucking hard, to move them all, so that they do not get demages from standing around.
my posting above has to be understood with a little bit irony
