Hello everybody
I´m from Portugal and I´m starting the restauration of my late grandfather Rekord C Coupé 1900
Have been reading plenty of information on the forum.

The car was silver, just like OK´s car. I´m planning on painting it to silver again, vinil black roof and optional 13 inch wheels, Kadett if I find them or something with classic look

Thanks!

My Father had an opel Kadett B Rallye with the same antenna bound down....was quite cool mid seventies.

Your wheels could be 14inch from a later Rekord model....maybe Rekord D ?

Exhaust systems in steel are still available in Germany - price around 450 Euros....stainless steel also but quite expensive

cheers

Hi
Don´t even know if this antenna is original. Truth is I´m 46 and never saw another antenna in the car..

In the seventies you got attention with a long antenna same as the kids get today with loud pipes. As you
could not park the car in a normal carport you had to bend it down 😊

Its a cool aftermarket thing - period correct we would say today.

How about rust on the floors and above rear axle ?

cheers

Don´t think it´s bad. Car is sitting in a good garage for 20 plus yeras but had a repaint and body protection a few years before parking. Alternative "vintage" antenas. What to look for?..
