Wheel arch trim holder

Very disappointed with the wheel arch trim holders that are sold.
Spent almost 60€ and they are complete rubbish.
Pourly fabricated. Round screws in plastic?. On the first wheel arch in 8, 3 snapped right off without even screw the nut all the way...
Any alternatives?

Nothing better than OPEL Stuff. But where to get from. Sometimes i bought damage Wheel Trims only for used Holders, 20 Years ago.......

If you try to attach the screw with a 2 component adhesive? In the plastic part milled or filed a little, so that the adhesive has a torque arm? Nothing sensible but maybe it will still hold.

The quality of the plastic won't allow that...

I even made some by welding bolts on stainless steel sheet metal.

Its not a problem - i did so years ago

I take the orginal holder with busted stud - drilled a hole from behind and countersunk it.
then i take a brass countersunk head screw and solderd a brass washeron it to increase surface.
I glued this with epoxy. I mounted it with brass washers with rubber on top and tiny brass nuts.

It lasts - absolut no problem - the orginal holder has the advantage that there is a lip wich seperates the trim from the sheet metal...
