Hi thanks - great pictures, explained it all for me !
I would say ~56 Zähne Very hard to count when buildt in... How many on your C30 - then maybe i must count again !
---------------------------------
The other subject, gas pump return... Would it be ok to mount on the hoses(using a T piece) in the trunk, either on the one near the filling or the one at the upper back of the tank ?
---------------------------------
Back to work on this... Oh boy that is a lot more than standard in a commo . Still have 2 plugs that i dont know what is for, and i am trying to find out if the gas pump is to be connected somewhere or just directly on the ignition ...
And maybe remove all these as they are for auto gearbox(i think currently ):

It is possible to connect the return line at the fuel filler neck, but that doesn´t solve the problem with the missing baffling in the original GS carb tank. When used with a fuel injection system, it´s possible that the fuel pump sucks air in turns or abrupt braking as there are no baffles to keep the gas around the fuel pickup. There are solutions, except always having at least a half tank of gas, you can cut a hole in the top part of the tank and make some baffling, or use a catch tank after the original tank. This looks like it could work: http://www.aeromotive.com/products-page ... el-system/
Thanks and yes i have heard about that. I have been trying to find out how many baffles a GSe has, but no luck ?Commodåren hat geschrieben:It is possible to connect the return line at the fuel filler neck, but that doesn´t solve the problem with the missing baffling in the original GS carb tank. When used with a fuel injection system, it´s possible that the fuel pump sucks air in turns or abrupt braking as there are no baffles to keep the gas around the fuel pickup. I wont do a catch/surge tank, then rather open the tank and maybe divide it in 1/3s.
But for a start it will be +50% fuel level principle .
By the way, where is the fuel pump located on the commodore GSe ? And the return as well ?
Still searching for an C30NE beltwheel, and info on the amount of teeths ?
Anyway, got the engine more wired yesterday, enginebox and a lot of the wire harness is now hidden behind the glovecompartment in the car

Here is one way to do it yourself(it`s written in finnish, but I belive the pictures tell pretty good how it`s done): www.opel6070club.com/loiskelevyt/index.htm
The plastic cup is from a Vectra B with a X20XEV engine but i belive cups from other gasoline models can be used as well.

Smart, and yes sourcing from another injection tank might be the best solution.

I will pull the C26 wheel of tonight and give it a better count. Anyway i have asked in several Opel communities and no one have a C30NE wheel that they are selling .
Otherwise i have come up with this idea :
Take the C26 wheel and turn of(abdrehen) what ever is needed, of the flat belt part, so that the "zusätzliche doppelte Riemenscheibe" could slide over. And then mount/weld the "zusätzliche doppelte Riemenscheibe" onto the wheel...

BTW, due to the ölwanne switch the oillevel stick dosnt fit in lenght - as it is now in the shallow part and not the deep part of the oilsump.
So how to handle this ? Just fill in the required oil amount and cut of the oillevel stick so that it fits, and maybe do a new mark on it ?
