Commodore a blech teile
Commodore a blech teile
Hi all
Just wondering about the quality and how well different blech teile fits ?
I have a lot of small areas which will be hand made, but in the lower back of the car i need several parts...
- Anschlussblech links/rechts.
- Endspitze endblech hinten links/rechts. Is there different types here(breite) ?
- Heckblech unten.
- Radlauf hinten links/rechts. Mine are basicly ok, but they are welded on top of the car side, and then 1cm of plastic padding on top . I need to fit the Radbogenleisten, so what to buy that has the correct/original shape ?
Where to buy from ? Altopelhilfe has em all, is that a good choice ?
And what is the german name of this part:

Hi,
"And what is the german name of this part: "
its Rahmenträger / Rahmenbogen hinten links.
-> its hard to find and expensive - no illusions about the quality and the perfekt fit !
For all offered aftermarket body repair rarts: These Parts are made in the 80´s for a quick cheap and dirty fix.
They are a little bit bigger than the orginal and designed to weld them over the rusty old ones....
All body parts need intensive work to have a good fit.
Regards
Georg

You don't have to buy a complete car, can't you go to a junk yard ? Or maybe there is someone who has a donator(s) you can cut from ?

I wont do the welding and so on by myself - i can weld, but not on a car ! I have a close friend with 35 years of doing that, and all i have to do is bring him the car body(cleaned - working on that) and the parts that i can get(the rest i he will build)... An old school guy, who uses tin(Zinn) instead of plastic padding

Ended up buying new parts from "Klokkerholm":
http://www.klokkerholm.com/xProductCata ... fault.aspx
They look great, and seems to fit quite good compared to the original.
